Membership Benefits
1 / Your Own Storage at The Lounge
Keep your selections here under your name, poured whenever you visit. Whiskey, other spirits, and wine are all eligible. Lockers are under construction, and Founding Members get first right to claim one: free the first year, half the going rate after that.
2 / First Access to Barrel Picks
A minimum of three exclusive single barrel picks every year, and members get first access to purchase each one before the public.
3 / Complimentary Pre-Release Tastings
Before any Lounge barrel pick reaches the public, members taste it first, on us. Ohio law limits tastings to four samples per person in a twenty-four hour period.
4 / Join the Barrel Pick Team
Every member is entered into a random draw for a coveted spot on our barrel pick team. Taste through the samples and help choose the next Lounge single barrel. Travel and related expenses are on the member.
5 / $2 Off Non-Alcoholic Purchases
Membership pays for itself, one round at a time. Members take $2 off every non-alcoholic item, per item, every visit.
6 / Cocktails Made With Your Own Bottle
Pull a bottle from your storage and hand it to the bartender. We will build a cocktail around it for a flat preparation charge covering mixers and labor.
7 / The Bottle Concierge
Hunting something rare? Old Fitzgerald, Van Winkle, E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof, or a hard-to-find tequila or wine. Tell us what's on your list and we'll put our sourcing network to work.
8 / Help Pick (and Brew) the Next Beer
The Society is not just whiskey. Members vote on the next special Lounge brew, and two members are selected to join us for brew day and keg day.
9 / Six Months of Dram Diary Premium
Dram Diary is a whiskey collection app that tracks every bottle you own, with barcode scanning, tasting notes, values, and analytics on your phone. Barrel Society members get the premium tier free for six months. See it at dramdiary.com.
Membership
Individual memberships are $50 a month or $500 a year paid in advance. Business memberships are $150 a month or $1,500 a year paid in advance, with up to three named members on one account. All fees include Ohio sales tax. This is the initial rollout: join in the first wave and you are a Founder, with additional perks throughout the first year and going forward. Founder spots are limited, and the price goes up once they are taken.
